The Portman Hotel is a distinguished luxury establishment that has been a cornerstone of elegant hospitality since its inception. Its central location in the Portman Square, near Marble Arch and Hyde Park, provides easy access to some of London’s most iconic attractions.
In our commitment to the enhancement and documentation of The Portman Hotel’s infrastructure, a comprehensive set of technical initiatives was undertaken. This included the creation of an as-built 3D Building Information Model (BIM) at Level of Detail 3 (LOD 3), offering a detailed representation of the building’s structure. Additionally, a 3D site plan at LOD 3 was developed to provide insights into the hotel’s surroundings. For comprehensive planning and reference, 2D General Arrangement (GA) floor plans and site plans in CAD format were meticulously crafted. Detailed 2D elevations in CAD format were also prepared to offer a comprehensive view of the hotel’s vertical aspects. Furthermore, a 3D model addressing rights of light considerations was constructed, alongside a utility survey to ensure comprehensive understanding and management of essential services. These initiatives serve to safeguard the integrity and functionality of The Portman Hotel, enhancing its status as a distinguished luxury establishment for years to come.
