To ensure the preservation and enhancement of this iconic structure, a comprehensive set of design and documentation tasks were performed. This included the preparation of intricate floor plans, with additional detailing for room and corridor services, the development of detailed roof plans and basic sections. Moreover, a 360-degree colour HDR panoramic imagery tour, accessible via a web-based viewer, was created to offer a virtual exploration of the hotel’s grandeur. These efforts not only aid in maintaining the architectural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the Excelsior Hotel Venice but also enrich the guest experience by providing a glimpse into its luxurious offerings and majestic surroundings.
